The Lone Star Beer Freddy Fender Mural by Huls Design is a prominent 48' x 8' hand-painted wooden installation located inside the newly reopened Freddy Fender Museum in San Benito, Texas. The hand-painted, 48-foot by 8-foot wood mural features the late Tejano legend alongside Lone Star Beer branding. It is permanently located at the Freddy Fender Museum in San Benito, Texas. The mural was hand-painted in San Antonio, and celebrates the music icon’s lasting legacy in South Texas and is a collaborative homage to one of the region's favorite Lone Star legends. Mural Design & Origins
Commissioned by Lone Star Beer to honor the legendary Tejano and country music icon, the mural was officially unveiled in mid-2026 to coincide with the museum's grand reopening events.

Titled "The Lone Star Legend," the massive installation seamlessly blends the classic aesthetic of the Texas beer brand with the legacy of Freddy Fender.The Artist:
Hand-painted entirely on wood by artist Huls Design, the piece holds deep personal roots in South Texas culture. The artist openly shared that the emotional project was heavily inspired by childhood memories of listening to Freddy and the Texas Tornados alongside family.
